Guess who wants protect your identity now?

The same people who peddle your info nuggets to anyone with a pulse — the US Postal Service.

Along with this week’s serving of junk, Uncle Sam delivered a valuable flier from the FTC chock-full of tips — and irony.

While their advice is basic and obvious — shred documents, protect your SS#, don’t take candy from strangers — it is, nonetheless, a good ID Theft Avoidance 101.
